Sunday July 22nd 2012 – Jammin’ for Joe at ApCal

[custom_frame_left]Video-play-pic-jammin-for-joe-web[/custom_frame_left]Our first jazz concert at ApCal is a truly special show. “Jammin for Joe” is a Smooth Saxophone R&B Concert benefiting Relay for Life and The American Cancer Society in Honor of Joe Monreal Jr.

The concert is in honor of Joe Monreal Jr. who lost his 5 year battle with cancer. Joe was a remarkable man who proved to be an inspiration to many family and friends throughout California. The concept for “Jammin for Joe” was the brain child of Joe’s brother, Mark Monreal, who happens to be a professional Sax man out of the Los Angeles area who has performed with Al Jarreau, the Neal Diamond Band, and the James Brown Band. Mark has gathered an all-star band that has been selling out wherever they perform. The “Show” is an evening of Sax driven songs with an all-star band. There will be several vocal numbers with the soulful sounds of Motown and beyond. It is an evening of pure entertainment that you will not want to miss.
