We’re taking jazz guitar playing to the Summit with two of the Central Valley’s hottest jazz guitarists, Rich Severson and Mike Dana. Severson with a smooth, melodic jazz sound is the perfect complement to Dana with a more edgy, outside style. These two artists also specialize in jazz education; Severson with his GuitarCollege.com video lessons and Dana, professor and Music Dept. Chair at FCC. This dynamic duo, backed by drummer extraordinaire Gary Newmark and hallmark bassist Roy Carlson, generate a powerful synergistic blend of jazz guitar at its best. Add a glass of fine wine and this is “Jazz guitar paradise!”
