Since I have been such a “Good Boy” this year, the bearded one himself, SANTA, has agreed to join us at ApCal from 8-10pm! Pictures with Santa are not just for the little ones – dress in your Holiday best, bring your camera and snap a fun photo with ol’ Saint Nic! He’s makin’ a list and checkin’ it twice, but a bottle of ApCal wine might turn you from naughty to nice!

We’ll have delicious appetizers, great deals on wine and Holiday gifts and we can even custom make a gift basket while you sip a fine glass of ApCal wine!

So get all your Friday Night LIVE friends together, naughty or nice, and come out to ApCal for an evening of Holiday fun! Santa, the Wine Mavens and I will be waiting for you!

Holiday Spirit Weekend

[custom_frame_left][/custom_frame_left]The Madera Vintners Association’s family wineries are proud to present the Madera Wine Trail’s Holiday Spirit Weekend on November 12^th and 13^th, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Get into the holiday spirit as you taste the award-winning wines of the Madera Wine Trail.

Madera’s warm climate and geographical features give our winemakers the ability to craft wines that offer distinct flavors of unique varietals. Wine Trail visitors will have the opportunity to taste a variety of aperitif, table, and dessert wines that are sure to satisfy any palate! With two new wineries on the Trail, this Wine Trail Weekend is sure to offer more wines and fun than ever before!

Tickets are $25 and available in advance or at the door at www.MaderaWineTrail.com or at participation locations.

ApCal is an Associate Member of The Madera Wine Trail and will be pouring a couple of our house wines for those participating in The Wine Trail. So we invite you all to stop on by, enjoy the fun, and support locally grown and locally produced wines!

Glen and the Boys will bring their dancin’, groovin’ Blues sounds to the ApCal stage for the final Friday Night LIVE concert of the season! These guys drew a crowd of 400+ the last time they graced the patio stage, so gather up your friends and get here early! Don’t miss the last FREE concert of the season!

Glen and The Sub’s

[custom_frame_right][/custom_frame_right]Recently named musician/ band of the year in Fresno Magazine’s online poll, Glen Delpit and the Subterraneans specialize in Bluesy American Roots Music. They employ bits of Blues, Folk, Rock and Country in a driving sound that is all original in content. They have been performing for nearly a quarter of a century, opening for and backing up such notables as Bo Diddley, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Leon Russell, Dave Alvin, Booker T. and countless others.

Born in New Orleans, living in California, Glen Delpit has been mining the roots of American Music for more than 35 years. His original songs have been described as literate and poetic and can take their place with the finest American songwriters. His music also covers a wide spectrum of pre-war blues from Willie McTell to Robert Johnson. He has opened for many American Music legends such as John Lee Hooker, Leon Russell, Brownie McGhee, Pinetop Perkins, Katie Webster and many, many others.

Glen Delpit and The Subterraneans have three cds out on the Dharma Brand label.
